Patch 26.16Sketch

Counter Shaco

The opponents who give Shaco trouble, and how to handle each one.

Where these numbers come from

They are pulled from the mode's own files for patch 26.16, the one currently live. The source is community-run rather than an official Riot API, and the game shifts with community votes, so a gap with your own game is always possible.

Lee Sin
Lee Sin

The Blind Monk

Nightmare

He does everything you do, more durably and without depending on surprise. He finds you at range, closes the gap and wins the even duel, which makes contesting a camp a losing proposition until you are clearly ahead. Do not invade, race instead: clear efficiently, gank the lanes he just left, and plant boxes on your own jungle entrances so you hear him coming. If you meet him without a box already down, leave, immediately.

Olaf
Olaf

The Berserker

Hard

Your poison slows him, his axe speeds him back up, and his ultimate hands back everything your crowd control could have offered. In a jungle duel the lower he gets the faster he kills you, so starting a fight and bailing halfway through is the worst decision available. Steal his camps while he is on the far side of the map instead of contesting him face to face, and gank the lanes he cannot reach in time. If you truly have to fight him, do it on top of boxes that are already armed, never on his terms.

Warwick
Warwick

The Blood Hunter

Even

He heals off everything he touches, so poison chip damage never sticks. Your edge is tempo: you arrive in lanes before he does, you convert earlier, and you can take camps off him while he clears slowly. The thing never to forget is his ultimate lockdown, because once it lands your blink will not get you out. Only engage him with a box already planted behind him and your escape available, and never walk into a lane where he is already sitting for the counter-gank.
