Patch 26.16SketchCounter Olaf
The opponents who give Olaf trouble, and how to handle each one.
Where these numbers come from
They are pulled from the mode's own files for patch 26.16, the one currently live. The source is community-run rather than an official Riot API, and the game shifts with community votes, so a gap with your own game is always possible.
His blind removes your damage and your lifesteal in one button, which is the entire duel. Never commit before he has spent it: walk in, eat it, then swing. Undertow is your only pressure before six, so throw it where he's going as he backs off, not at him. Buy vision for his shrooms early, they block every path you'd use to chase. And don't expect to close at six without help, he outruns the duration of your ultimate.

Counter Strike deletes the phase where your basic attacks do the work, and he wins the extended duel outright once he has two items. Your window is the very start: play levels one to four hard with the retrieved axe, he has no answer to the slow. When he raises the dodge, step back or throw the axe without swinging, then return when it drops. Never let him pick the ground next to his own minions, the stun hits everyone around him.

His armor isn't the problem you think it is: Reckless Swing deals raw damage and goes straight through it. The real issue is his slow, which stops you sticking to him before your ultimate. Play the early lane aggressively, he's miserable before his first armor item, and force long trades where your lifesteal and rising attack speed grind him down. After six, hold Ragnarok for the instant he charges rather than spending it to engage.
