Patch 26.16Sketch

Counter Nidalee

The opponents who give Nidalee trouble, and how to handle each one.

Where these numbers come from

They are pulled from the mode's own files for patch 26.16, the one currently live. The source is community-run rather than an official Riot API, and the game shifts with community votes, so a gap with your own game is always possible.

Olaf
Olaf

The Berserker

Nightmare

He eats your poke, heals off it, and never lets go once he commits. Your slows do nothing during his ultimate, and you have no crowd control to compensate. Play this as a survival lane: hug your tower, farm with the javelin at maximum range, and give up the wave rather than stand where his axe makes him faster than you. Save the transformation strictly for the escape leap, never for a trade, and get your jungler to open the lane for you.

Jax
Jax

Grandmaster at Arms

Hard

While he has no items you keep him at arm's length and he can do nothing about it. The problem is that he only needs one opening to close the gap, and once he is on you he wins every duel. Never throw your javelin from a spot he can immediately leap to, and always put a trap between the two of you. Refuse cougar form anywhere near him. Late in the lane, shove the wave and go help elsewhere, you are not killing him alone.

Garen
Garen

The Might of Deamcia

Even

His regeneration erases poke that only chips, so hit hard and rarely rather than often and weakly: one full-distance spear does more than three close-range throws. His silence is the real danger, because silenced you cannot swap forms at all, which costs you both your leap and your heal. Never let him touch you while your transformation is available but unused, and drop a trap on his path back to lane so that chasing him is actually possible.
