Patch 26.16SketchCounter Jax
The opponents who give Jax trouble, and how to handle each one.
Where these numbers come from
They are pulled from the mode's own files for patch 26.16, the one currently live. The source is community-run rather than an official Riot API, and the game shifts with community votes, so a gap with your own game is always possible.
His blind cancels your auto attacks, which is all of your damage, at the exact moment you leap on him. And he pokes from range without ever letting you touch him. Accept losing the lane, buy magic resist early, and farm under tower. His punishment comes later: past your items he can do nothing to you and has to give up the lane the moment you shove it.

Ground Slam strips the attack speed your whole kit runs on, and his armor absorbs what's left. Counter Strike does nothing against his abilities, which aren't auto attacks. Don't grind the lane: farm, reach your items, and remember that over a long game you scale far past him. Take trades only once his granite shield has already been spent.

His entire game is auto attacks, and Counter Strike dodges every one of them before stunning him. Let him commit, activate on time, and the duel is over. The only way to lose this matchup is activating too early and watching it expire on nothing. Once the lane is won, shove and take his tower: starving him of resources is what stops him existing late.
