Patch 26.16Sketch

Counter Brand

The opponents who give Brand trouble, and how to handle each one.

Where these numbers come from

They are pulled from the mode's own files for patch 26.16, the one currently live. The source is community-run rather than an official Riot API, and the game shifts with community votes, so a gap with your own game is always possible.

Kassadin
Kassadin

The Void Walker

Nightmare

His silence cuts your sequence in half, and with no second cast there's no stun and no spread. Play the early levels hard: shove the wave, force him to farm under tower and deny him any comfortable back. Once his ultimate is online he appears on top of you between waves and you have nothing to stop the approach. Hold Sear exclusively for the moment he blinks in, never throw it at the wave while he's out of sight, and buy your defensive item before your second power item.

Ahri
Ahri

The Nine-Tailed Fox

Hard

She dodges anything with a delay, so Pillar of Flame lands on empty ground the moment her ultimate is up. Mark her with Sear first: a burning target hesitating over her own dodge is far easier to catch with the follow-up. Never step forward for a Conflagration while her charm is available, that's exactly the opening she's waiting for. After level six, stand on the side of the wave that leaves you a straight retreat line to your tower.

The Tiny Maser of Evil

Even

Two immobile mages, decided by whoever lands first. Tempo is your edge: Pillar of Flame empties a wave faster than Dark Matter, so you can pin him under tower and deny the last hits that feed his power. Never walk toward him while the cage is up, and if you get caged, leave through the nearest edge rather than backing out the way you came. After his level six, always keep more health than his full combo can take off.
