Counter Skarner

The opponents who give Skarner trouble, and how to handle each one.

Where these numbers come from

They are pulled from the mode's own files for patch 26.16, the one currently live. The source is community-run rather than an official Riot API, and the game shifts with community votes, so a gap with your own game is always possible.

Lee Sin
Lee Sin

The Blind Monk

Nightmare

He clears his jungle faster than you and usually hits level six before you do, which leaves you playing defense during the most dangerous window. Don't contest his camps directly, counter-invade yours instead of his and prioritize ganks on lanes he hasn't scouted yet. Once your ultimate is up, look for moments he's overextended away from his team to impale him, that's the one place you take back the advantage.

Olaf
Olaf

The Berserker

Hard

In an extended melee fight he almost always wins thanks to his healing tied to damage taken. Never commit to a camp-versus-camp duel, let him take his profitable camps and focus on vision and lane ganks where your control matters more than his sustain. Use Impale to isolate him from his team before he goes into a rage state, not to open a fight where he can just tank through it.

Warwick

The Blood Hunter

Even

Two contact junglers with sustain, this comes down to who controls the objective first. Crystal Slash clears faster than his ranged harassment hurts, so lean into tempo and take neutral objectives ahead of him instead of hunting the duel. Save your ultimate to interrupt his ultimate mid-chase, impaling him while he's tracking someone erases the whole point of it.
