Patch 26.16Sketch

Counter Kayle

The opponents who give Kayle trouble, and how to handle each one.

Where these numbers come from

They are pulled from the mode's own files for patch 26.16, the one currently live. The source is community-run rather than an official Riot API, and the game shifts with community votes, so a gap with your own game is always possible.

Teemo
Teemo

The Swift Scout

Nightmare

His blind removes all of your damage, because all of it runs through basic attacks. Never open with Righteous Fury while that dart is up, you'd be burning your only window for nothing. Wait until he spends it on the wave or on your jungler, then stick him with Judgment and unload immediately. Buy a vision ward early, walk the minion line instead of the brush, and accept that you're farming until your first attack speed item.

Jax
Jax

Grandmaster at Arms

Hard

You win the first levels, he wins every duel after them. Use the window where your extended range keeps him honest to deny him minions, but never extend a trade into his attack-blocking stance: your hits vanish and you eat the stun at the end. Disengage the instant he raises his weapon, come back once it's down. Later on, your Intervention cancels his dive outright, so keep it for exactly that.

Garen
Garen

The Might of Deamcia

Favorable

He has no way to reach you as long as you hold the spacing. Judgment slows him, Righteous Fury hits him from outside his range, and his passive regeneration never ticks if you come back to touch him every few seconds. The one mistake that loses you this lane is standing in his spin trying to win the trade: walk out during the rotation instead. His silence is the reason to save Intervention for the end of his sequence rather than the start.
