Patch 26.16SketchCounter Janna
The opponents who give Janna trouble, and how to handle each one.
Where these numbers come from
They are pulled from the mode's own files for patch 26.16, the one currently live. The source is community-run rather than an official Riot API, and the game shifts with community votes, so a gap with your own game is always possible.
She needs one step forward to make you irrelevant: once her target is locked down, your shield doesn't cover the rest of the chain. Stay outside her engage range, never glued to your carry, and keep Howling Gale charging behind the wave at all times. Your one window is the moment she commits without her team, so Monsoon her back and cut the follow-up. Take Cleanse if she's paired with a jungler who brings a second lockdown.

One landed grab costs you the lane, and your health bar forgives nothing. Stand behind a minion on principle, change your angle constantly, and keep the Zephyr passive up so you can walk through units the instant he misses. If he pulls your carry, an immediate Monsoon pushes her out of his follow-up range before the rest of his sequence lands. Make that a reflex, not a decision. Buy a river brush ward early and keep it up.

She wins the pure poke war, you win anything that turns into a decided fight. So don't play the attrition game you lose: sit behind the wave, let your carry farm, and wait for the step forward she has to take to land her auras. A charged Howling Gale on her position removes her from the fight at the exact moment she wants her ultimate. Catch her channelling a recall or overextending and the tornado alone is worth a summoner.
