Counter Gragas

The opponents who give Gragas trouble, and how to handle each one.

Where these numbers come from

They are pulled from the mode's own files for patch 26.16, the one currently live. The source is community-run rather than an official Riot API, and the game shifts with community votes, so a gap with your own game is always possible.

Olaf
Olaf

The Berserker

Nightmare

Your whole kit runs on slows, and his ultimate erases exactly that. So don't play the duel line: sit behind your wave, drop Barrel Roll on the spot where he picks his axes back up and deny him the free refund. Keep Body Slam for getting out, never for getting in, as long as his ultimate is available. Call your jungler before level six, because after that you don't kill him alone and you're only delaying the inevitable.

Teemo
Teemo

The Swift Scout

Hard

He chips you from range and you can never catch him clean. Your one angle is the barrel: land it behind him while he steps up for a minion, and detonate as he backs off. Don't chase him into his brush, that's where the shrooms are waiting, and buy a vision ward on your first back. Your wave clear beats his, so shove into his tower and let your jungler collect whatever he refuses to give up.

Nasus
Nasus

The Curator of the Sands

Favorable

Every minion he fails to finish is a piece of his game you delete. Drop Barrel Roll on the wave as the minions fall below half health: he loses stacks, you take health off him, and he has nothing to answer with. When he steps up to absorb a hit, drink and Body Slam, then leave, the passive gives back most of what you spent. Respect his slow once he's near his ultimate, and remember your lead has to show up on the map before his twenty minute mark.
